PROGRAM:

PRIZE-GIVING:Winners according to results of 2 days will be awarded with prizes in the form on goodis.

 OPEN COURSES:There will be 2 open classes - 3km ja 6km. The registration to all open courses in Info Desk.Start fee is 3,5 €. All participants of open courses will receive a number bib. Open courses use Craft’s start. Start time is free, participant have to punch at start line.  

EGMONT’s PLAYGROUND: In the competition center is childs playground. At the place is start and finiš of child race.

FIRST AID:First aid assistance can be asked from Info Desk.

FINISH: Finish time is fixed with finish punch. On the second day rented SI cards can be returned on the finish area. As long as starts are open all maps have to be left in finish area. Please find a plastic bag with your club name. Maps can be picked up after closing of starts.

INFO DESK:Info Desk is the competition center. Opening hours: 1st day 11:30-16:00, the second day 9.00-13.30.

MAXIMUM RUNNING TIME: Maximum running time is 3 hours on both days.

CONTROL DESCRIPTIONS:Control descriptions are printed on the front side of the map. Separate control descriptions and tape will be available in starts (outside of start area).

TERRAIN AND MAPS:Maps scale is 1:10 000, except MN8NR, MN10NR – 1:5000. Contour intervall is 5 m.

PLAYGROUND:vt EGMONT’s playground

PUNCHING:Electronic punching system SPORTident is used in all classes; all SI-cards are accepted (inc. SI-8 and SI-9).Children's course is without electronic punching.

SHOP:There will be a shop of orienteering goods in the competition center.

PARKING:Parking is on the competition center. Please follow the organizers instructions. There is no parking fee.

SHOWER:There will be a tent with a warm shower in the competition center.

RENTED SI-CARDS:Rented SI-cards can be picked up from info desk.

NUMBER BIBS:There are number bibs used at the competition. You can find your bib at the competition center. If starting fee is not payd a participant have to pick it up from info des. All others can find number bibs near info desk. On the number bib is printed starting time of Day 1 and beginning of starts of class on Day 2. Logo on top of number accords to the name of start.
For open courses number bibs are at the Info desk.
Using the number bib is obligatory.

WARM UP CLOTHES:On Day 1 a warm up clothes are delivered from start to finish area.

START:

Starts are named by partners of Kalevi Suvejooks. Please follow names of starts in startin lists, logos on number bibs and logos on signs to the start

 Day 1 – interval start

• Pre-start is 2minutes.
• Starting interval is in all classes 2 minutes.
• Competitors start beside map box.
• Separate control descriptions are available near starts (not in pre-start).

Day 2 – chasing start

• On classes MN8NR ja MN10NR is on Day 2 interval start like Day 1.
• In all other classes is chasing start. Winner of Day 1 starts first and all others follow him/her according time difference of Day 1. After 30 minutes of start of winner of Day 1 all remaining competitors will start with 2 minutes interval.
• Separate control descriptions are available near starts (not in pre-start).
• Competitors are called to start queue 3 minutes before actual start time. Please do not change order in start queue.
• Start times can be seen on computer screen in the start. Start is given with 1 beep.
• Start is given on start line (not beside of map box). After start competitor have to pick up a map.
• Start time of Day 2 is calculate as follows:
  •  Start time of you class is (for example) 10:20:00
  • Winner result on Day 1 was (for example) 00:45:32
  • You lost to the winner 03:15
  • Winner will start 10:25:32
  • You will start 10:28:47

CAFE:In the competition center is opened a cafe. Opening hours:

• 28.mai: 12:00..17:00
• 29.mai: 09:00..14:00

TOILETS:Toilets are in the competition center.

RESULTS:  Results can be followed on result board on competition center, online on the web and official results in the web. In the finish area all comptetitors receive a printout of splits and total time. In the finish area there will be computer to check results of your class - just punch with you SI card and results of you class will be displayed on the screen
